CIC Connect offers clients rapid quoting and contracting on projects with the CIC, resulting in quick turn-around times making it easier for clients to run more than one project over a single year. Members of the CIC Connect program have access to the services and expertise that we offer, including our facilities and the staff’s knowledge about the latest advances in composite technologies.
This program supports the Western Canadian composites industry by enabling industry to leverage our capabilities and services through cost shared agreements, allowing industry to maintain control of intellectual property while working collaboratively with different organizations.
The Carbon Fibre Interest Group (CFIG) is a Composites Innovation Centre initiative to bring together industry partners, product developers, researchers and material suppliers who are interested in using carbon fibre in their products.
The CFIG is open to any organization interested in using carbon fibre composites, sharing innovative ideas or wanting to connect to a mutual interest counterpart. Any project that is developed through the Carbon Fibre Interest Group could leverage support from the Composites Innovation Centre, the Vehicle Technology Centre or the Composites Research Network.

Through the Carbon Fibre Interest Group, the CIC will support those who are willing to co-develop a project with the CIC and qualify for the CIC Connect program. The CIC may provide 25% to 50% funding support towards CIC labour.
