As a mechanism to support education and technology transfer in the composite industry, the CIC coordinates and hosts technical workshops known as Special Interest Groups (SIGs). This half to full day informative sessions focuses on awareness and education of technical issues common within the composite industry. As well, SIGs emphasize cross development giving relevance to all members of the composite industry including designers, fabricators, suppliers, researchers and academics.
The CIC also develops and provides specialized training or instructional sessions tailored to specific client needs. Such seminars could include laminate design, tool fabrication, composite analysis or designing for manufacture. CIC incorporates both academic comprehension and hands on exposure in our engaging and interactive training seminars. The CIC also provides curriculum development services to industrial, academic and technical training institutes.
